Mitchell Faccinto starting the evening as the fastest qualifier (10.65 seconds) and Michael Faccinto picked up a heat win. Main event saw "The Dominator" toying with the leader the first two laps, pulling out front but not for good as Mitchell Faccinto made Dominic Scelzi work for his victory,  Trading the lead spot in lap traffic as the 2011 Clay Cup Champion Michael Faccinto was hot on their tail. Yellow flew putting a stop to Mitchell Faccinto's momentum, restart saw Dominic Scelzi take the lead and the win, as Michael Faccinto passed brother Mitchell Faccinto to take second. Ryan Smith Wing-Less Wonder! Kutztown Fair Week Nationals, PA August 20, 2011
PACE, it was perfect from start to finish." Ryan Smith
Ryan Smith Wing-Less Wonder!
  Kutztown Fair Week Nationals, PA
August 20, 2011

"We had a flawless night with the No. 22 PACE, it was perfect from start to finish."
Ryan Smith

When his car is that good, you can count on a flawless performance by its driver, too, and that's exactly why Ryan Smith padded his bank account by $1,000 after a big win in the Wingless 600cc Fair Week Nationals at the Kutztown Fairgrounds on Wednesday evening.

Because he won the Dash Race among the top eight qualifiers, Smith earned the right to start the 600cc A-Main from the pole position. He led all the way, maintaining the point on five restarts during the 30-lap event. There was also one (extremely) close call, as a lapper spun on the front stretch with nine laps remaining - and the spin occurred directly in front of the race leader, causing Smith to take some quick, evasive action.

"Yeah, that was an eye-opening, 'Woah!' type of moment," smiled the victor
with half the race yet to be run. Smith  was just too strong for the field winning the big $1,000 prize!

Congratulations JVD Racing, Jason VanDoren and Ryan Smith!
