Runner up Result for Williams in Victorian Formula 500 Championship

After finishing fourth in both the Australian Championship and the Oval Express Series, Liam Williams last Saturday night at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway added a second place finish in the Victorian Formula 500 Championship to his list of 2008/09 season achievements.
In what would be best described as a stoppage riddled Victorian Championship deciding feature race; Williams had taken the lead away from current Australian Champion and eventual winner Brock Hallett only to have the caution flag come out again and the race was declared after only eight of the 20 lap was completed. Due to the race having been taken back to the last recorded lap before the stoppage Williams was relegated back to second place.
It’s certainly not the way that you want to end the Victorian Championship and to take the lead and then have it declared soon after is pretty disappointing and frustrating to say the least,” Williams said. “Whether or not I could have gone on and won if the feature race had gone through to the finish is something that we’ll never know now, but one thing is sure my car was very quick and it got better as the race wore on.”
Williams had qualified third for the feature race, after finishing his three heat races in fourth, third and first, and slotted into third on the opening laps. In a feature race that was punctuated by stoppages Williams’ VIC # 62 Pace machine had good pace early on and moved into second place on the eighth lap by passing Leigh Van Ginneken. Contact between the pair was made as the pair diced for second place and it resulted in Van Ginneken crashing heavily.

Pace Chassis Australia has taken out another A-main win in the new '09 out fit. Now having wins at Mother Mountain Speedway in Gympie (winning the 5th round of the Hyper racing series), and on the 28th of March (wining the A-main at Mac's Speedway) in MacKay leading from Flag to Flag.

Laang International Speedway ,RTS Chassis Stampede series ended on a good note for Liam Williams once again taking home the honors for the 11th round of the series.
Starting 7th in the first heat and 8th in the second heat. Finishing heats in the 3rd position.
My laps show no data on his staring position. Only first place honors for the Pace Chassis sponsor driver.

Pace Chassis Australia House Driver Dale Shilleto Takes Another Podium. 5/3/09
Pace Chassis came home to finish 3rd in the QLD formula 500 nationals. After running 2nd for 27 of the 30 lap race only to have a re start with 3 to go and falling back to 3 rd. Dale qualified out of 2nd in the A main after winning the B scramble by over half a lap.

Yesterday was the last race meeting of the season for us in victoria, we raced at Mortlake Speedway for the mid western championships grand in the hand. Started mid pack in all our heats, had two 1St and two 2ND in the heats, started the final off pole position and led all 20 laps to take out the win and the $1000.

New 2010 Pace Chassis Smashing Lap Record! Rockhampton Speedway,Australia 10-31-2009
Pace house driver Dale Shilleto debuted the New 2010 Pace Chassis at Rockhampton Speedway, unfortunate early finish to the race last night. Seven posts were broken on the catch fence and was unable to be repaired. Shaun Eyers stating the season on a good note wining his first heat by over 1/4 of a lap in his Pace Chassis 2007.
Dale Shilleto finishing two heats and smashing the track record! The only chassis to get below 14 sec lap. At the restart with four laps to go no one could come near Shilleto flying his 2010 Pace Chassis into the record books.

Queensland drivers filled the first three placing's in round four of the NSW Formula 500 Premier Drivers Series at Lismore Speedway Saturday night. It was complete PACE Chassis domination by the sunshine state as Dale Shilleto took the win in the 20-lap main event. Smashing the 8 lap track record at Lismore by 14 seconds in the 2nd heat.
Shilleto, who also is the Victorian Formula 500 Champion, was the star of the night. He came from deep in the field for the win in the main event which ran flag to flag in the super-quick race time of four minutes 35 seconds for the 20 lap distance. Shilleto displaying the 2010 in true PACE fashion with a 10 second lead over the second place finisher.

Thirty six entries this time around with Dale Shilleto claming victory with the only car under 13 seconds, fastest time on the track in the main event (104.950). Winning the prestigious title from flag to flag.

Dale Shilleto's Winning Formula Continues Down Under! Gympie Speedway, Australia 2-20-2010
Once again PACE Australia proves to be in a class of their own. It doesn't seem to matter if it's a big 1/2 mile or 1/5 mile track the 2010 PACE gets it done.
" It's like nothing that I have ever driven before! " Dale said after his 4th win of the season at Gympie Speedway.
Starting at the rear of the field Dale Shilleto moved into the lead by lap four of the fifteen lap main event. Barry Gibbs #66 3rd in points and Brenton Finney #88 4th in points, finishing 5th and 6th at Gympie Speedway.
Also to add one more awesome feat Shilleto broke the track record in his third heat being the only car of any kind to ever break into the 15 second range (15.932). This year has been a personal best for the Shilleto team, along with breaking three track records this year. Congratulations PACE Australia!

Who will stand on top of the stockpile at nights end? Victorian state title holder Dale Shilleto stands above all others adding another title to his already stellar year.
PACE Australia's outstanding season has continued as the Shilleto team leave another track with spectators and competitors scratching their heads. Winning two out of the three heat races, Dale Shilleto starting the main event from the pole position. It was PACE Australia all twenty laps despite nine yellow flags.
When asked about his formula Shilleto's response.
"Buy a PACE or chase it!"

Shilleto Ready for Aussie Title!
Maryborough's Dale Shilleto is ready and raring to go in this weekend's running of the Australian Formula 500 Title being held in Alice Springs, Northern Territory this weekend.
This season has already been extremely successful for the Maryborough Deisel Mechanic, as the Pace team have won the Victorian and Queensland Titles, as well as break numerous track lap records right around the country.
Shilleto who has had a sensational season onboard the 2010 Pace Chassis, is looking forward to competing in the Australian Title.
"We all race to be number one, and I hope we can bring the car home straight and on top of the podium" Shilleto said.
"We have a great package, as we have proven this season, so if everything goes to plan we a hopefully we can bring home the big number one", Shilleto said.

Formula 500's "Rocky Resort Stampede Series" 5-2-2010
Another awesome PACE performance in Maryborough Australia! Dale Shilleto in his 2010 PACE was high points scorer as Brenton Finney 7th after heat races. With an inverted grid, Finney started the final out of position 8. By end of first lap Brenton Finney's #88 PACE flew his way into 2ND. Lost Shilleto to an early race crash, Finney taking the lead on lap 12 and remained till the checkered flag flew. Fantastic night for PACE Chassis taking 3 of the top five positions.

2010 Country Health Austrian 500 Title Arunga Park Speedway,Alice Springs
Current Queensland and Victorian title holder Dale Shilleto tied high point the first night at 2010 Country Health Austrian 500 Title Arunga Park Speedway,Alice Springs. Shilleto made it 2 for 3 with a victory in heat 14, The quickest time of the night with an extremely fast 13.635 pass on the 400 meter track. Smashing another record down under.
The Shilleto gave it his all but came up a bit short with a second place finish in the main event. Without a doubt an impressive run in his PACE on Sunday with a podium finish.

Rocky Resort QLD F500 Stampede Series final round held at Gladstone Speedway Australia this weekend. Shaun Eyers taking the final win of the points series aboard his PACE Chassis.
Starting the main event in the fourth position Eyres drove his way into the lead on the seventh lap. Flying away from the field finishing the twenty lap main event ahead of the second place finisher by 5.110 seconds. Congratulations Shaun Eyres! Finishing the last point series race in true PACE style!

A sensational field of Formula 500’s at Maryborough Speedway this weekend for the two night “Pace Chassis Australia / Paul’s Cylinder Heads” Queensland Nationals.
Drivers from as far away as the Central Coast of New South Wales and Cairns in Far North Queensland entered, and leading the charge is the current Queensland and Victorian Champion Dale Shilleto. Shilleto who lives in Maryborough was hoping for a big finish to the season in front of his home crowd. Add last start winner Shaun Eyres, last Maryborough feature race winner Brenton Finney.
