Ryne Welch Wins at Shepps Speedway  Alexander, IL

Driving the only PACE in the field Ryne Welch took the number 2 green machine into victory lane at Shepps Speedway!
Starting 5th in the heat race Welch moved into the second position by lap one and taking the win by a straight. On the pole for the feature green flag flew Ryne Welch checked out on the field and won the feature leading by half lap.

Three Class Victory at Delta Speedway, CA  July 2, 2011

Alex Panella, Derek Galante and Matt Peterson take feature wins at Delta Speedway.

5/8 restricted class had Alex Panella seeing checkers for the first time this year, driving his new PACE Chassis first time Panella jumped into the lead taking every lap of the main event.

Derek Galante wins 2 heat races and Alex Coronado collecting a heat race win in the 3/4 Restricted Class.  First visit to Delta Speedway this year Galante started 5th in the main event, moving  into the lead by lap 13 taking the win by a stretch.

Super 600 Class was a PACE field!  Heat race wins go to  Austin Stone, Amanda Evans, Matt Peterson and Drake Galante. Main event time Peterson starting 6th took the lead on lap 10 and the remaining 20 laps for the win, with a total of 5 cars finishing the event.

Matt Peterson 1st, Austin Stone 2nd, Mike Barnes 3rd, Jared Williams  4th and Ron Singh 5th.

Tyler Brehm Wins Firecracker Feature! GVAT, PA  
July 2, 2011


Rookie Tyler Brehm the only PACE Chassis in the field at the annual Firecracker Feature event at GVAT, PA.
Brehm lead the field wire to wire for his 1st career micro sprint win!   Starting the night  with a heat race win, ended with a  straightaway lead over the field.

“Free T-Shirt Night” was sponsored by Plain Insane Graphics, The Hub, Jones Collison Center, Valley Collinsion Center, Jones Towing and Storage, The Body Shop, Stoney’s Sand & Gravel, Cen-Cal Paving, and Stoney’s Concrete.  The first 300 spectators received a free T-Shirt.

Stock Class PACE Top Three!
Tristan Guardino (#15T) is point leader and was fast Qualifier for the night in the Stock Class.  The first few laps of the main event saw Guardino and Mike Schott (#22) trading spots for first and second.  Schott went onto win the main event  his first race in a PACE, fallowed by Tristan Guardino and Tucker Worth (#33)  Heat races were won by Mike Schott and Tristan Guardino.

Super 600 PACE Top Eight!
Slide job, was the name of the game in the Super 600 Class.  With all twenty-two cars starting the main, competition was very close.  The first several laps were led by pole-sitter Dominic Scelzi (#41).  Heath "The Mayor" Duinkerken (#79) won his third race of the season after starting in the eight position.  Second place went to Scelzi, with Dylan Black (#21B), Drake Galante (#76N) Ryan Worth (#88) Michael Faccinto (#1) Mitchell Faccinto(#4) and Austin Stone (#29).    Heat races were won by Dominic Scelzi, and point leader Michael Faccinto (#1)

Delta Speedway July 16, 2011

With tracks south of Stockton dark on Saturday Delta Speedway had a few visitors . Scelzi brothers taking home wins along with local Alex Panella and Dan Mongana.

5/8 Restrictors
Alex Panella (12) has had nothing but success in his new PACE! Pole starter in the feature Panella pulled out front at the start leading the pack for 25 laps! Two races in his new PACE and two wins back to back for the Rookie!

3/4 Restrictors
Giovanni Scelzi (41) first visit to delta this year didn't disappoint the fans winning both heats.  Starting on the pole the dominance was apparent leading every lap of the restrictor class main event and brought home the second win in his new PACE Chassis.

Non Wing
Non-wing veteran Dan Mongana (75)  got it done!  Mongana won two heats as Shane Myhre(01) and Kayla Evans (11) shared a heat win. Dan Mongana led the field wire to wire for his second win of the year!

600 Multi
if we could bottle confidence Dominic Scelzi would be my first consultant for the project.  Fastest car on the track Dominic Scelzi (41) won two heats as Brad Hannum (13h), Amanda Evans (22)  and  Jared Williams (36) shared a heat win. Dominic Scelzi (41) showed why he is one of the top runners south of Stockton, leading the race all  30 laps and taking his third win in his new PACE machine!  Hard charger goes to Russ Seros (11) first time in his new PACE starting 11 and finishing a solid 4th!

28th Clay Cup Nationals Deming Speedway, WA

52 Drivers sighed in for the Clay Cup Nationals! The fastest cars were at the back of the field for the first two nights main events. Drivers best preliminary night points total determined Saturday's 600 feature line up. The winner claimed a $7,500 check!

Thursday, July 21
B-Main
Last chance for the main event fast Heath "The Mayor" Duinkerken pulled away from the field with ease, but a good battle ensued for the final two transfer spots as  Chase Schmidt driving one of only 3 local PACE cars flew from 14th to 3rd and Austin Stone missing the transfer starting 13th and finishing a solid 6th.

A-Main:
Top in points start in the back as Brad Hannum 2nd time out in his new PACE started pole position, Out front leading the pack Hannum had the field covered winning night one. Michael Faccinto finishing 2nd from the 16th spot makes him high point for the night. Dustin O'Brien finishing an impressive 5th from 17th and Chase Schmidt blasting his PACE from 21st to 8th. Heath Duinkerken finishes up the PACE with a 12th place finish from 19th.

Friday, July 22
B-Main
Chase Schmidt from Abbottsford, B.C., grabbed the lead from the green flag of the 600 B-Main and never relinquished it in spite of some early race cautions.  Transferring to the A-Main was Austin Stone driving around 3rd runner coming to the white flag to claim second.

A-Main:
Race got ugly three laps in, on the gas cars piled up completely blocking the track.  Wreckage cleared and racing resumed at the checkered flag
Dustin O'Brien starting 17th finished 5th, Matt Peterson 8th, Austin Stone 9th, Heath Duinkerken 13th

Saturday, July 23

Michael Faccinto sure proved he knew how to get around Deming Speedway.
Faccinto was the top qualifier after he posted big points in Thursday's preliminary. Friday, July 22 Faccinto was involved in a multi-car wreck going into Turn 1 early in the feature, and still the PACE bullet was high point going into Saturdays big money feature. Faccinto went wire-to-wire to claim the 600 Clay Cup Championship in the feature event of the weekend, with that victory he grabbed the $7,500 winner's purse! Michael Faccinto picked up the biggest victory of his career in his #15 Pace, running all 40 laps with little challenge from a loaded field.
Faccinto also pocketed $250 from Duinkerken Farms after winning the match race against new PACE Chassis owner number 71 of Dustin O'Brien !

Nine PACE Chassis entered the Clay Cup this year, Winning 2 nights!  Thumbs up for locals Chase Schmidt and Dustin O'Brien moving through the field in true PACE style!

Dark for three weeks drivers and spectators were ready for more racing action.  Seventy-eight cars were signed in, qualified and ready to race.  

Giovanni “Hot Sauce” Scelzi (#41) from Fresno, in his Pace Chassis, won the restricted heat race and Main Event scoring his third feature win this season.  Scelzi took the lead from points leader as Alex Coronado (#27) put the pressure on second runner the remainder of the race finishing a fast 3rd. Giovanni Scelzi has now won at every micro track this year in California!

Tulare’s Mike Schott (#22) added some sweet graphics to his new PACE, starting on the pole of the Specialy Crane & Rigging Stock Class Main Event and held on for his second win in a row aboard his new PACE Chassis. Sweeping the field in his new car Schott qualified fast time. Stock heat races were won by Tucker Worth (#33) and Mike Schott (#22) This was a clean sweep night for Mike Schott.

Shaw Structures Unlimited Non Wing 600 main even winner was PACE Chassis own Austin Stone (#1), 2010 Pace Chassis House Car  running wingless Stone had the second "Clean Sweep" of the night!   Qualifying fast time, collecting a heat win and running away with the feature!

The Super 600 Bullet Impressions - Race Chic Main event was won by Dominic “The Dominator” Scelzi (#41), Scelzi posted fast time of the night and started on the pole of the main event in his PACE Chassis   He also won his heat race making it  the third "Clean Sweep" for the night.  Second place went to Michael Faccinto (#1).  Dylan Black (#21B) finished third, with Mitchell Faccinto (#4) in fourth. Super 600 heat races were won by Dominic Scelzi and double duty driver Austin Stone (#29).

As July comes to an end more PACE drivers put their PACE 600 into victory lane, Jared Williams wins his first Super 600 feature and Alex Panella adds another win to his already stellar year!

8th Points Race of the year at Delta Speedway and the kids on a roll in the 5/8 Restrictor Class. That's the #12 of Alex Panella! Dominating once again taking his new PACE into victory lane for the 4th time this year! Sweeping the class this night winning two heats, starting 3rd in the feature Panella took the lead on the 10th lap, the UNSTOPABLE Alex Panella wins main event number 4 !

Jared Williams wins his first race in the Super 600 Class! Fast mover all year Jared Williams (36) used the 6th starting position in the main to move quickly into 3rd position and set sight on the win, first position was his on lap 9 and collecting his first win of the year!  PACE ending the night with a top 5 finish Jared Williams (36) 1st, Kayla Evans (1) 2nd, Amanda Evans (22) 3rd, Brad Hannum (13h) 4th

Alex Panella Three In A Row!

Every race in the 5/8 Restrictor Class this year has been won by a PACE pilot! Kyle Offill won the first three races in a row! After the breakout of his new PACE Alex Panella claimed 2 feature wins in a row at Delta Speedway!  PACE domination has continued as Alex Panella collects win number three on July 23rd!  Kyle Offill wins the heat as Alex Panella a fast second. Main event time Panella starting 3rd and Kyle Offill 4th, The #12 of Panella jumped into the lead from the start leading the pack for the 20 lap main as #88 Offill moved through the field finishing second making it PACE 1st and 2nd!
