Reeves Knew He Would Win Going Into The Tulsa Shoot Out!

Ryan Reeves picked up a little #2 sprint car toy in the parking lot upon his arrival in Tulsa.  He said "that's a sign, I am going to win this thing".

Thursday (Race day) Alex "The Monster" Coronado finishing 4th in the heat setting him on the pole in the Jr.Sprint B main Saturday.  Ryan Reeves and Austin Stone both won their multi heats. Finishing second in their qualifiers, Stone and Reeves  tied with 4 other cars in total points. By virtue of the pill draw we were placed 5th and 6th in points. We'll take it! 3rd row in the A main both 2010 house cars!

Saturday final day!  Alex Coronado Wining the B main with ease in the Jr.Sprint division placing him 15th in the main event.  Joshua Shipley from Peoria, AZ taking the final transfer spot for the Multi class.

Finally it was race time!  Jr.Sprinter  Coronado staring 15th and finishing in the 9th position his first time out to the Shoot out. The only PACE Jr Sprint entered this year. The finale Multi race went green for the first 16 laps Reeves had moved into second and Stone in 6th. Ryan had caught the leader in lap traffic and it was just getting very interesting when the yellow came out for a car spinning in turn 2, The leader came to a stop in turn 4 at about the same time Austin's car lost power due to a wiring issue as he was moving in to 6th.  Flying Ryan Reeves has the lead.  Finding the toy car was lucky! Winning the shoot out was skill and awesome equipment.  Ryan drove away from the field for the last 14 laps and winning the third consecutive driller in two classes for PACE Chassis. Joshua Shipley (Peoria, AZ) finishing 15th from the 24th position.

Congratulations Ryan, Nicole & Dillon Reeves!
